Remember making a paper plane in school and throwing it in class when the teacher wasn’t looking. That was fun but the cocktail is so much better and tastes excellent. I can not take credit for this libation but it was invented by Sam Ross while listening to the group M.I.A.’s song Paper Plane.
Paper Plane cocktail
1 1/2 oz. Amaro (preferably Nonino)
1 1/2 oz. Aperol
1 1/2 oz. Bourbon
1 1/2 oz. Fresh strained lemon juice
Combine Amaro, Aperol, Bourbon and lemon juice into a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake vigorously for about 20 seconds until the outside of the shaker is frosty. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
This is a very tasty cocktail, and not as herbal tasting as the ingredients would suggest!
