Through out time, there have been many supposed hangover cures, and at least two cocktails using the name hair of the dog, there are just as as many variations! This version is found in the book “Hollywood Cocktails”
Hair of the Dog
1 ½ oz single cream (whipping cream is a decent substitute)
1 ½ oz scotch
3 barspoons honey
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
