You don’t have to be of Hawaiian royalty to enjoy the signature drink of the famous Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Honolulu. Sadly, the hotel no longer serves this vintage classic from the 1950s but you can make one and feel royal afterwards.
1 ½ oz. gin
½ oz. fresh lemon juice
1 oz. pineapple juice
¼ oz. orgeat syrup (Almond Syrup)
Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake hard, strain into a chilled 4 – 5 oz. cocktail glass. No garnish.
