Whiskey Sour

Forget the cosmos, lemon drops or vodka & Red Bull, and have a real cocktail with texture, balance of flavor and is one of America’s oldest cocktails. The original was made with brandy and egg white but once Southerners learned to distill their own spirits, whiskey replaced brandy as the base spirit around 1900. Gin or Rum can be used as the base spirit as well.
