Income Tax Cocktail

Tis the season to file taxes or put it off until April 15th! While looking for any deductions as well as seeing if you’re entitled for a return, calm your nerves with Income Tax cocktail. It’s a recipe from Ted Haigh’sIncome Tax Cocktail must-have book for anyone interested in studying classic cocktails, Vintage Spirits and Forgotten Cocktails. This one is similar to the Bronx Cocktail, except bitters are added. This will help you get through the filing process.

Income Tax Cocktail

1 ½ oz gin
¾ oz dry vermouth
¾ oz sweet vermouth
¼ oz fresh orange juice
2 dashes of Angostura bitters

Shake well with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
