Cherry Blossom Cocktail

The national Cherry Blossom festival commemorates the March 12, 1912 celebration of Japanese cherry trees given from the mayor of Tokyo to the mayor of Washington D.C. for continued friendship of the two nations to grow and blossom. There will be many festivals commemorating the event and what better way to celebrate is with a Cherry Blossom Cocktail. I found this recipe in the Old Mr. Boston Official Bartender’s guide from 1935. This libation has five flavors but when combined together, they create a wonderful, refreshing Cherry Blossom Cocktaildrink.

Cheers and God bless,
