St. Patrick’s Day is the biggest drinking day of the year and better than having a pint of Guinness and a shot of whiskey, why not try an Irish Martini. This recipe is the true Martini version of this cocktail. Other versions you’ll find on various websites are all Vodka drinks masquerading, as the real thing, written by the unknowing.

Irish Martini
2 oz No. 209 Gin (or similar grade)
1 oz dry vermouth
2 dashes orange bitters
½ oz whiskey
Pour whiskey in a chilled cocktail glass, coat the sides of the glass and pour out remainder. Shake remaining ingredients with ice, and pour into prepared cocktail glass.
